This resource teaches coping strategies and emotion regulation using fun, relatable activities that will empower clients and/or students to build emotional regulation skills with this engaging, superhero-themed digital resource.
This resource has youth join forces with The Flash to mindfully defeat a team of "villains" that represent common emotional challenges.
Slides can be adapted and edited to meet client needs. This resource is best for individuals in grades 2–8 and also works well for youth with anxiety, ADHDers, autistic individuals, and those with PDA profiles.
Can be used for individual counseling, small groups, SEL lessons, or telehealth therapy
Through interactive slides and structured prompts, youth will:
- Practice identifying their emotions and triggers
- Learn and apply mindfulness and coping strategies
- Explore various thinking patterns
- Choose skills that help “defeat” each villain with support from The Flash
